Inclusion Awarded Gold Status

We have been awarded Gold Status for outstanding mental health and well-being provision by The Carnegie Centre of Excellence!

Inclusion Education earned the award for outstanding provision of mental health and well-being support to its learners, students and staff.

The Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools aims to strengthen pupils’ mental health by supporting schools to make a positive change at all levels of the UK’s education system, improving students’ outcomes and life chances.

Our staff provide amazing support to the young people in our care, working with them to find strategies and tools to explore and manage their mental health and well-being whilst enabling them to re-engage with their learning."

The award was established in 2017 by the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools – part of Leeds Beckett University – and social enterprise Minds Ahead. As well as assessing mental health support for young people, the award also recognises well-being provision for staff – something incredibly important to the organisation.

Our success as an organisation is reliant on the amazing work our team of dedicated staff provide. We have a range of approaches designed to support mental health and well-being such as flexible working, a supportive management structure, training and development, staff well-being surveys, Champions in areas such as mental health and menopause, supervision sessions and access to counselling and support programmes – all of which help us to role model the importance of looking after mental health to our learners."
